Retrospective 2022: a dynamic year for WiXar

This was a big year...

Rich in events, exhibitions, conferences, projects... But also and above all rich in learnings. Before giving you the results of our experience in 2022 and our perspectives for 2023, let's dive into a retrospective of this year.

The year began strongly with the presence of Wixar at the 1st Forum des mondes mรฉditerranรฉens, following the call for SmartPort proposals launched by the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille and the Union Maritime et Fluviale, which we won in late 2021. This was a great opportunity to promote the sea-related professions and encourage recruitment in a sector that is under pressure.

In March, resumption of expert exhibitions with Virtuality (one of our favorites๐Ÿ˜‰) and HR Solutions.
If the 1st one allows us to confront WiXar with other tools of the sector, the 2nd one is right in our scope: bringing relevant solutions to Human Resources. One observation: exhibitions are back, for good! Rafik Smati will not say the contrary.

In April, the new must-attend event for Virtual Reality professionals and informed amateurs : THE major exhibition in France : Laval Virtual. And guess who was there and made a hit? Wixar of course ๐Ÿ’ช. Our principle of real time demo seduces unquestionably. It's a pleasure!

The next event was Learning Technologies in May. The Digital Learning exhibition par excellence! We were nice and warm, within the startup village organized by Le Lab RH & EdTech France (a support we particularly appreciate - a big thank you to them). With a bonus interview with Alexia BORG from BFM Business & DLM News.

Also noteworthy was our presence at SantExpo where our CEO spoke about the benefits of immersive learning, based on a training project for cleaning agents for the Atalian Group.

In June, the big Tech rendez-vous took place : VIVATECHNOLOGY. All the best in innovation gathered in an incredible effervescence. An exhibition resolutely Inno-network-demo, as we like it! Discover how our teams designed a VR experience in only 2 hours at VivaTech. It was the occasion for us to announce the availability of our software suite on PICO, in addition to Oculus headsets. In short, we are up and running everywhere!!!

During the summer, the team has not been idle! On the contrary, we multiplied the appearances:

Back in September, it's back to business: Here we are, invited to the ร‰popรฉe by AfterWork HR - Human Resources Association - HR Learning Community - HR Event to talk ๐‘๐‡&๐Œ๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ : ๐–๐ก๐ž๐ง ๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐จ๐ง๐›๐จ๐š๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐

Vigie Voile: the 1st immersive game for the eco-sailor

In October, we launched a new Wixar training program for trainers and educational engineers. Our desire: to be there to help them create their first immersive learning scenario. A success that would lead to new sessions in 2023!
In the same time, a presence at the Learning Game Meeting with the "Accรฉlรฉrateur M", launch of an immersive game around the Sailing to preserve the environment (and yes, Wixar is an Impact StartUp and involved for the planet) and collective demo workshops at the Learning Show in Rennes.
That's it!!!

In November, Wixar became a partner of Simplon, the 1st Metavers Academy. This was an opportunity to forge links with Meta, also a partner of the school. A wonderful adventure in which we are happy to participate.

To top off this month of November, we were delighted to discover that Wixar is among the influential players in the ๐ฆ๐š๐๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท metaverse. A study brilliantly conducted in response to the mission letter of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Recovery, the Minister of Culture as well as the Secretary of State in charge of Digital Transition and Electronic Communications.

This was the beginning of Wixar's citations: Wavestone, Tomorrow Theroy and others cite Wixar as an influential player in the Immersive Learning community. It makes us proud to have our work recognized and valued.

Obviously, as this is B2B, some projects are not mentioned here, as you will understand.
And while there are still plenty of appearances, projects and other events coming up at the end of this year and the beginning of 2023, let's draw some lessons now:

โ˜๏ธ Wixar appears more and more as an identified player by many external and independent sources (promise, no bribe paid). Which leads us to believe that we are moving in the right direction.

โœŒ๏ธ More and more people are interested in immersive learning: large groups, SMEs, trainers, educational engineers... So much the better! They can count on us: we will be there to support them

๐Ÿ‘Œ There is still a long way to go to democratize access to immersive learning for everyone. And at Wixar, we are very mobilized on this point: to make available to "front line workers" the same technology that Thomas Pesquet uses!

๐ŸคŸ The adoption of these technologies requires a rise in the skills of all strata of the training universe. It is therefore a progress for all, which we encourage every day.
